Quiet Hours (22:00 - 07:00): You are free to use common areas anytime day and night. However, it is strictly prohibited to make any loud noises or have group gatherings (both inside and outside) after 10pm. Please respect our neighbours and other guests who are staying at the Carob Tree for a peaceful night. Group chatting and laughter travels very quickly in the house and can easily disturb other guests.
No Unregistered Guests are allowed on the property: please refrain from bringing friends or family whose names aren’t stated in the reservation, all house amenities are for The Carob Tree guests ONLY.
A/C: All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, for both cooling and heating. This may be turned on/off from wall control panel. Please help us save energy and turn OFF air conditioning when leaving your room.
Baby Cot: Please note that baby cots are only available if pre booked along with your booking. Not available in Ħawħa.
Breakfast: A free self-service breakfast is available in the kitchen between 8am – 10am.
Check-In/Arrival: Normal check-in time is from 3-6pm. We will do our utmost to meet you on arrival. However, we also offer self-check-in when required or for late check-in times. Contact us for more info.
Check-Out/Departure: On the day of your departure, please vacate your room and settle any pending bills by 10am at the latest. You can conveniently leave your room keys and house pass in the room door and leave room unlocked.
Electric Appliances: For security reasons, please do not use your own electrical appliances in your room. Small appliances such as chargers, electrical toothbrushes or shavers can be used.
Emergency: In case of emergency please call 112. Also please inform us on +356 79706073.
Fire Extinguishers: Fire extinguishers can be found in the corridor of each floor.
Internet: Wi-Fi - Free access is available all over the house. No password is needed to login.
Means of Payment: We accept the following credit/debit cards with your PIN: Visa and MasterCard. Payment can also be made in Cash / SEPA transfer / Revolut transfer or BOV Mobile to Mobile.
Parking: No private parking is available, only street parking. Please respect our neighbours and do not block any private parking/garage entrances.
Room Cleaning: Rooms are cleaned between 8am and noon. If you do not wish to be disturbed, please place the ‘Do not disturb’ sign in your room’s external door lock. Fresh towels are available from the Living Rooms Wardrobe at any time. Dirty towels may be deposited in the laundry bins available in the same wardrobe.
Smoking/Non-Smoking: Our family B&B is a non-smoking house. All our rooms are non-smoking rooms. A €50 cleaning fee will be charged to anyone found to have smoked in their room.
Swimming Pool: Pool is open for swimming from 9am – 8pm. Please familiarise yourself with our pool rules.
Voltage: Throughout the house, the electrical voltage is ~ 230 Volts.
